We always pay it forward

You may disagree with this philosophy, initially, however, we will likely come to an agreement on the following statement: “We always pay it forward.”

Consider the luxuries that the pharaohs, kings, and royalty enjoyed in ancient times. Despite all their wealth, they lacked the resources some of the poorest Americans take for granted today:

  • Air conditioning
  • Telephones
  • Mobile apps and personal computers
  • Petroleum and electric powered transportation
  • Modern medicine
  • Tools of all kinds
  • Global commerce
  • The variety and abundance of food stocked in grocery stores with fresh picked food available all year round
  • Even snail mail and package delivery can reach remote parts of the globe in a fraction of the time

All of the above was an impossibility even 100 years ago. Yes, the poorest person in America today has more than the royalty of old.

Why?

Every generation leaves behind a wealth of physical resources and information for the future generations to build upon. By the way, that’s why wealth advisors suggest that people invest in the index funds on the exchange early in life. Population growth and the desire by the future generations to build wealth is what builds wealth for those that invested long before. When we die we leave it all to the next generation… all the wealth, knowledge, even friends and family.

So why not make something that can live on to make the lives of the next generations easier? If nothing else, let us be remembered.
